Come visit our campus and experience a day in the life of one of our music majors! Prospective students can participate in a shadowing experience where you can sit in on classes and ensemble rehearsals as well as see our facilities across campus. Students may also have a complimentary lesson with Dr. Millard as well as an informational meeting with one of our academic advisors. To schedule your visit, contact Dr. Millard at
Auditions take place on three Saturdays throughout the spring. If you are unable to attend an official audition day, please contact Dr. Millard to schedule an ad hoc audition.
Repertoire: Students should prepare two contrasting solos or etudes (one lyrical, one technical) of their choice. All-State/All-District audition pieces and solo and ensemble pieces are suitable for this audition. For questions or recommendations on repertoire, please contact Dr. Millard. Students will also be asked to play major scales and a sight-reading excerpt in the audition.
